Sigti S.a.s. is Italian company who works in several fields for designing and manufacturing plants for asphalt production, aggregates treatment, sludge treatment, industrial smoke filtering and drying process. Sigsti S.a.S. was founded by Giorgio Sartori who has got a degree in mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan. First he worked for a company specialised in designing and manufacturing earthmoving machinery, in a second time he focused on general construction yard machinery. Subsequently he moved in a leading Italian company specialised in designing and manufacturing plants for the production of bituminous road mixes and he got huge experience in the design of drying and filtering plants for aggregates and similar manufacturing.
He also owns 4 design patents about particular technological processes and about the shape of dryers vanes.
Since several years Sigsti S.a.S. uses two phosphates production lines designed by the company itself, and it has innovated the whole process by introducing a new high-efficiency drying system and building also a new factory in Ravenna. Sigsti S.a.s. has improved its technological knowledge focusing also on plants for premixed dry mortars and other related processes such as the drying process with rotary drum and fluidization. All these professional experiences gave shape at the following projects about designing and manufacturing plants for the drying, the screening and the moving of coal, anthracite and metallurgic coke to be used in steelworks and burning plants, drying plants for the residual mud coming from the manufacturing of aggregates and marble and finally in thermal treatment plants for waste and mud with special mixers. Recently we have also designed plants for the thermic desorption and for the high-temperature treatment of lands polluted by hydrocarbons, oils and PCB, achieving a total cleaning up and recycling of the materials involved.
This project has been awarded in 2011 by Italia degli Innovatori the Italian Government Agency For Innovation.
